The Firemen's Park in the Prairie was built in the fall of 2007 with the help of hundred's of volunteers from Sun Prairie and surrounding communities. Otherwise known the Sun Prairie's

"Dream Park", the park was built as a fully handicap accessible facility so that all children could join in the fun!

The Sun Prairie Dream Park project was spearheaded by local residents Anita Holcomb and Rebecca Ketelsen and supported by a cast of hundreds.. Fundraising began in 2006 and continues today. Our donors, through cash, in-kind offers and labor, have made this dream come true!  Dream Park construction was engineered by Leathers & Associates, a design and construction consulting firm. Each of their playgrounds is designed differently based on the site and the Sun Prairie Dream Park is no different!
